Jamiee "J.Reik" Cooley

On December 13th, 1990, Jamiee Ta'Neisha Cooley was born to Ronnie and Sojourner Cooley in Raleigh, NC. Jamiee found her love  for music at an early age.  In, 1992 Jamiee and her mother moved to San Antonio, TX and lived with her aunt until Jamiee's pre-teens. Here, Jamiee's love for music grew deeper. Every morning Jamiee would wake up to the sounds of music pumping from her uncles speakers. Everyday had its genre with an arsenal of artist. By the time Jamiee got to the 6th grade, she had already taken lessons on the piano and violin.  She added the tenor saxophone and the drums to her list during these years. She was also the youngest audio technician  and musician at her local church.  Throughout Jamiee's teenage and young adult years, she sung in many gospel choirs and begin writing songs and arrangements. After graduating from Judson High School, in June of 2009,  Jamiee attended the University of the Incarnate Word. There she begin her studies in the Music Industry with an emphasis in piano. While in school, Jamiee suffered the unexpected loss of her cousin and in May of 2010- Jamiee dropped out of school. From 2010 until 2016 Jamiee worked and acquired other degrees and cetificates, but there was still something missing. Inspired by a friend, Jamiee enrolled in Full Sail University and took her first class in January of  2017. While in school, Jamiee founded her brand, Reikoboyy Productions. The company lie dormant for a few years until Jamiee completed her studies at Full Sail University in February of 2020. Jamiee is currently working an Independent Music Producer/ Musician and Insurance agent. She currently resides in San Antonio, TX with her fiancé and family.
